Every year Fairlop Lions and Leos along with other Lion Clubs organise a trip for disadvantaged children to attend the District Youth Celebration. In November 40 excited children and carers accompanied by Lion Doreen, Leo President Chanel and Leo s Georgia, Mary and Shamita boarded a coach for the Elstree Party,
The group of children came from the Women’s Refuge, had family members with drug or alcohol, were children on the autistic spectrum or had suffered a bereavement. They all enjoyed face painting, dancing, entertainment and delicious food. It was wonderful afternoon full of happy children.
