Our District and International Divisions have a number of on-going projects and appeals to help the young, the old, the sick and disabled and various community projects to which we contribute.
In particular, in 2009 we donated 14 parent beds to the children’s ward at King George Hospital and in 2010 a Breast Cancer machine at a cost of £5000 to the same hospital.
We have also made sizable donations to the various recent disasters around the world which include the Haiti disaster, Pakistan floods and Japanese Tsunami. We will shortly be contributing to the Africa Drought Appeal.
We spread our donations over a spectre of categories which can be local, National and International and are decided by the membership. On average we donate £30000 per annum.
