Charter Nights and Handover celebrations
A “Charter” is the date when a Lions Club is formed and is celebrated on each anniversary. At Lions Club of Fairlop we combine this evening with our “Handover” which is when our new president is inducted and again, this happens on a yearly basis.
This is an evening of celebration and reflection of the club’s activities during the preceding year. It also gives our outgoing president the opportunity to acknowledge and reward some of the members for their endeavours.
