The club combined their Handover evening in June 2013 with a golf day to raise funds for Cansupport.
The golf tournament was held during the day arranged by Lion Brijesh to raise funding for CanSupport, a Charity in India that he has been supporting for some years. CanSupport provides home care and palliative care to patients with cancer. As most people prefer the comfort of their home, when their cancer advances the Charity send teams of doctor’s nurses and counsellors to their homes in and around New Delhi to provide the care and support that they need.
A total of £4500 was raised on the day and below are some images of the day
